Job Description

We are recruiting for the expansion of our Southeastern U.S. Sales Team. This position is one of drive and self-motivation. The role of the KAM is to develop our business and relationship to grow our sales with Key Accounts in Automotive and Aerospace industries.

Typical Duties:
- Develop the item business with selected Key Accounts.
- Manage relationships at different levels to create and develop an established network within our industry.
- Create and manage a Key Account Plan for each customer and each location if needed.
- Identify and evaluate future needs and challenges and develop dedicated selling proposals.
- Define and implement specific sales strategies.
- Increase market share in line with corporate goals and meet/exceed the sales numbers in accordance with company's ethics and guidelines.
- Project management by leading a "Virtual Key Account Team" inside our organization.
- Provide feedback to the Director of Sales on progresses, obstacles and successes to allow any necessary corrections in terms of sales or marketing in the territory.
- Support marketing efforts and attend trade shows, exhibits, product training and other events.
- Attend periodic sales training.

Skills:
Required Skills:
- University or college degree, or a successful combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management in Automotive or Aerospace.
- Established existing network with manufacturing industry in the sales territory.
- Familiar with modular aluminum extrusion systems such as 80/20 and Bosch Rexroth or Tube & Joint systems such as Creform, Trilogiq or NIS.
- Ability to understand customer needs to match products and service solutions, and to build and maintain lasting relationships.
- Excellent sales skills with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Mechanical Aptitude - Gathering technical information from catalogs and other resources to answer a variety of questions.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Professional skills at Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and with CRM Systems.
