Job Description

Are you an experienced Loan Funder? Are you looking for a long time career at a reputable company located in Owasso, OK? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Reporting to the Funding Manager, Funders are responsible for completing functions related to the closing of loan applications. This includes performing services requiring interaction and communication with Brokers, Escrows, Account Managers and Account Executives regarding loan file status.

Essential Responsibilities:
-Maintains current knowledge of Policies and Procedures as they relate to documents and funding
-Accurate and timely review of all loan documents
-Accurate and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan
-Researches and resolves problems or complaints from internal and external customers
-Prepares a complete list of all outstanding items remaining after review or corrections that must be made and promptly forwards to broker and closing agent or Title Company
-Follows loan checklist order as conditions are signed off and new information is received
-Performs accurate input of all required funding fields prior to input in order to generate correct wire amount
-Prepares the funding package and coordinates the timing of the loan funding request
-Verifies that conditions have been approved by the appropriate party
-Maintains familiarity with residential mortgage documents
-Works directly with processing, underwriting, loan officers, settlement agents, title, Loan center & Loan support areas
-Review CD & HUD to ensure compliance
-Other Duties as Assigned

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-2+ years of loan funding experience in a mortgage banking company and/or financial institution is preferred
-2+ years of experience working with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and standard industry guidelines is preferred
-2+ years of experience with state and federal lending regulations is required
-Familiar with new TRID Guidelines and Policies

The pay starts at $45,000/year and is negotiable based on experience.
