Job Description

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
Set up and safely operate Press Brakes to process/ produce highest quality products by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Responsible for operation, proving programs, operating controls, setting all machine functions, deburring and inspection of parts to assure required conformance.
2.Set up and document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations.
3.Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions.
4.Maintain accurate parts on routine repetitive jobs.
5.Perform in-process checks to maintain all required tolerances and quality.
6.Communicate all production-related items to next shift operators or shift supervisors.
7.Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerances machining and adjust machine within capabilities. Report all machine malfunctions to Management.
8.?Flex? into other Departments and Work Centers to perform needed production/support tasks.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.

--Ability to run multi axis Press Brake. Set-up experience is beneficial.
--Must be able to read and understand written instructions, shop drawings (blueprints), charts, and diagrams.
--Ability to read measuring equipment including tape measure, caliper, protractor, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THIS JOB
Incumbent must be able to:
?Lift up to 70 pounds on occasion.
