Job Description

Our client is opening a new company in Gainesville, GA. This is the first US location with more to come in the future.
They will be producing extruded plastics for the global TPE suppliers. This is a great opportunity for anyone that is wanting to get in on the ground floor of a new company.

This position maintains and ensures reliable operation of all Plant Manufacturing and equipment. Being a member of the Maintenance Department weekend overtime is expected when necessary.

Experience:
- Knowledge of Power Distribution Systems including switchgear and power distribution panels.
- Experience with AC and DC motors, motor starters, transformer wiring and relay logic.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives.
- Experience with PLC's, which include ControlLogix, PLC-5 and SLC 500.
- Be able to follow and understand wiring diagrams.
- Work well independently and within a group as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- Handle diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical components and systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment using PLC Software.
- Troubleshoot drive failure and set up replacement drive if needed.
- Execute and perform diagnostics on electronic components.
- Execute and perform work based on wiring diagrams sketches and specs.
- Inspect, repair or replace motors.
- Maintain power distribution equipment and lighting.
- Work to complete departmental predictive and preventive maintenance program.

Skills:
Qualifications & Competencies:
--Must be able to travel out of the country for training
--High School Diploma or GED
--Trade/Technical School in Electrical Maintenance PLC required
--Knowledge of mechanical systems.
--5 years maintenance experience with relevant electronics industry, mechanical experience -and experience with PLCs
--Associates Degree in Electrical field or Electrical Trade School Certification.
--Be able to climb and work from Ladder.
