Job Description

Spherion in partnership with our client right here in Mankato, is recruiting for a Maintenance Manager role. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity; an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Employee Owned company that is recognized throughout their industry as a leader in technology and innovation. We are seeking a motivated and team oriented leader to manage the maintenance staff, oversee equipment reliability and our predictive maintenance system for our 24 hours continuous flow operation.

Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and manage effective reliability centered maintenance and TPM programs to assure maximum equipment availability.
- Follow all safety rules and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
- Develop associated RCM/TPM training methods and assure employees are trained and supporting the programs
- Oversee the maintenance workers to ensure they are safe, engaged, working productively and accurately on appropriate tasks and meeting the goals of the organization.
- Ensure maintenance coverage is directed as needed throughout the plant and technicians attend appropriate shift meetings when needed.
- Assure management, redundancy and backup of the hardware and software for plant plc's & monitor and assure tasks in the maintenance task systems are assigned and completed
- Provide positive reinforcement, constructive feedback, and discipline as needed to develop employees and maintain respect throughout Dotson
- Actively promote and ensure a safe working environment and safe working practices & determine and monitor appropriate parts stocking levels
- Ensure that both the interior and exterior of the building are in good repair & be actively involved in quality issues and facilitate resolution of machine related quality problems.
- Facilitate continuous improvement projects & work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 3 years experience leading a team or equivalent

- Must successfully pass a pre-employment assessment, background check, and pre-employment drug-screen.
- Must comply with organizational and departmental policies.


1-4 years

- Experience with electronics, controls and programming
- Experience in project management
