Job Description

Experienced Maintenance Manager needed for a well established manufacturing operation in Waco, TX.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance of the entire facility and all equipment and will supervise the maintenance technicians and electricians.

- Develop, implement and maintain the Company's maintenance program.
- Ensure department performance meets or exceeds company's standards.
- Develop and implement a computerized inventory of parts and equipment and maintain the spare parts inventory.
- Provide direct training and supervise maintenance personnel.
- Review inspection and repair reports.
- Manage and work within the maintenance budget.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations.
- Work with contractors to resolve problems and install new equipment.
- Manage site work order system.

Working hours: 8:00 - 5:00

Education and Experience Requirements:

--BS Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline with 5 or more years of Maintenance leadership experience in our specific industry, (web processing) or closely related manufacturing environment
--Demonstrated experience with manufacturing automation, Network configuration, and applications such as SAP or similar systems
--Demonstrated experience Sanitary standards
--Better Process Control certification is a plus
--Preventive Maintenance program experience and knowledge
--Previous management experience in an industrial maintenance
- Maintenance environment is required.
--Must be able to read blueprints and ladder diagrams.
--Understanding of variable speed drives, PLC logic and the use of CAD is preferred.
--Electrician certification and/or mechanic certification preferred.
--Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
--AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience.
--Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
--Demonstrates positive leadership and ability to hold others (and self) accountable.
--Ability to train others
