§  This position will assume responsibility for coordination and leadership of facility/equipment maintenance initiatives and staff. Transition a traditional planned maintenance program to support preventive/predictive maintenance initiatives. Responsible for developing a supportive maintenance budget and managing contractor safety, stores inventory, cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.  This position is accountable to manage performance, develop and coach direct reports and department member. Further, this position requires the ability to motivate employees, act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement, and must have the ability to build and maintain relationships.  


·         Health, Safety, and the Environment
o   Drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives in accordance with GKN Sinter Metals methodology while leading by example.
o   Help to maintain compliance with the ISO 14001 and TS 16949 standards, company policies, safety rules, and 5S housekeeping standards.
 ·         Job Specific Duties                                         
o   Lead, Coach, develop Team Members and schedule staffing as needed for production requirements, equipment repairs ect. Participate/Lead in the development and execution of training activities to promote the improvement of Engineering & Maintenance skills. Participate in Sub-contractor determination. Enforce and maintain the HSE guidelines/requirements established for the plant. Program and troubleshoot all PLCs Responsible for utilization and improvement of internal maintenance system (PMC) Responsible for all infrastructure, including piping, boilers, compressors, switches, panels, etc. Collect environmental data and report results; maintain relationships with energy and utility providers Provide auxiliary equipment improvements


·         Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business or relevant combination of education and experience.
·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervisory role
·         Previous courses or technical seminars relevant to plant operations, PLCs, and industrial equipment preferred. 
·         Ability to motivate and coach
·         Proven ability to work with and through people
·         Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
·         Must possess demonstrated superior oral, written, and organizational communication skills Knowledge of Maintenance and TPM concepts
