Job Description

To maintain machinery in good operating condition to assist in the achievement of company

Essential Functions:
Monitor machine quality and productivity results, identifying problem areas related to
Perform basic machine repairs as necessary
Coordinate complex repairs with manufacturer/supplier or outside vendor
Perform preventive maintenance activities
Report maintenance related issues that impact quality or productivity in Daily Asaichi
Implement kaizen activities to achieve daily quality and production targets
Report results in kaizen activities in Daily Asaichi Meetings
Maintain 5S rules in all work areas daily (safety, cleanliness, organization)
Develop, maintain, and update work instructions for maintenance area as needed
Train production employees on basic daily machine checklists and the importance of each
Able to work independently and self-motivated
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory control of spare parts
Must be able to maintain flexibility in position, fill in for production if needed for example

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required
to talk or hear. The employee constantly standing, walking, crouching, stooping, bending and
twisting. The employee will frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands
and arms. Occasionally the employee will push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

1-4 years

Required Education and Experience:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Formal knowledge in pneumatics, electrical related to machinery
Minimum two (2) years work experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Ability to clearly communicate in a team environment
Experience in metal cutting
Demonstrated ability to problem solve/troubleshoot
Experience with CNC machinery
Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of post secondary education in machine
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Regular Full-time. Must be available to work
overtime and weekends as this may be required as job duties demand.
Must be flexible for all shifts.
