Job Description

A new exciting opportunity to work with a well respected company in Goleta for an experienced technician to provide preventative maintenance and trouble shooting support to a designated shift. This position will also have responsibility for purchasing and inventory.

Major responsibilites include:

Support of existing equipment including preventative maintenance and diagnosis of machine failure
Support of expansion and new equipment
Order parts and maintain inventory to support equipment

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and CMMS
Must be able to use multimeter
Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydrolics, DC electrical systems, AC phase 1 and 3, 120v and 240v electrical systems
Knowledge of chiller and boilers
Ability to interpret technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
Ability to perform root cause analysis
Familiar with general shop equipment and hand tools
Knowedge with HVAC systems, RO/DI systems, boilers, chillers, and building and production equipment.

High School

4-7 years

Minimun of 5 years working experience in a general facility, maintenance environment.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

If you are offered the position you will be required to submit to a criminal background check and a drug test. This position will work on 1st shift (7am to 3:00pm) for approximately 3 months, and will then possbly move to 2nd or 3rd shift. So you must have the ability to work on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.
