Job Description

This position is under the general direction of the practice physicians, off-site radiologist, and COO or Regional Manager. Coordinator will also work directly with Practice providers, their administrator, practice staff, and various members . This position will also interact with Radiologists and their staff, Hospitals, and/or Radiology Imaging Centers.The ideal candidate will possess a well-balanced skill set that allows for successful interaction with a diverse range of patients and will possess superior computer skills. The position's primary responsibility is to provide administrative and technical support to the Mammography Technologist.

Provides administrative and image management support to the mammographer specializing in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions. Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice in which one works. Assist practice in any and all ways possible to be sure all eligible age appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms - this is particularly critical in the first 18 months of a new practice.Assists in the preparation of patients for the mammographic procedure.Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.Processes routine paperwork and all required data entry.Super user of practice's Electronic Health Record software. Maintains image movement and management to the offsite radiologist. Performs mammography tracking with the mammographer following MQSA guidelines and requirements. Responsible for a variety of coordinative and administrative support functions such as researching patient information, compiling data, and preparing reports.Performs all other duties as may be assigned.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Very strong computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience with electronic Medical Record systems (EMR) preferred.


7-10 years

??? Minimum of 2-4 years of practical experience.
