Manufacturing- Assembly Associates 3rd Shift

Job Description

Spherion Staffing has openings on 3rd shift for Manufacturing- Assembly associates to work with a local manufacturing company. Successful applicant will operate computer automated, high-tech machinery and equipment to produce glass units. This is a VERY physical position.

$16/hour
10:30pm - 6:30am Sunday - Thursday, OT as needed

Responsibilities:
- Run production machines that cut glass
- Handle and process glass in a safe an efficient manner
- Work to meet daily production goals through effective flow of units
- Inspect product for quality throughout the process to meet or exceed expectations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Skills:
Requirements:
-High School diploma or GED
-Previous assembly experience preferred
-Must be able to read a tape measure
-Basic computer, math and tape measuring skills
-Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
-Physically capable of manual labor that includes standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching
