Job Description

Are you interested in a Quality Lead position in Waco,TX? If so this is the opportunity for you. In this position you will be accountable for all quality related functions including, but not limited to, the development, implementation, and administration of all quality functions for the facility. You will have accountability for monitoring adherence to approved policies, and the continuous improvement of policies to meet all related standards, regulations, and to prevent warranty claims.

Overall responsibilities will include,
Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality system for the facility that meets or exceeds customer requirements.
Develop, plan and implementation of quality goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and audit systems for the facility (Internal and External).
Set the direction of quality function by effectively leading cross-functional teams, analyzing root cause, developing corrective action programs, and employing formal problem solving methodologies. Work with other departments leaders to ingrain these principles and methods throughout the organization.
Establish methods and standards to monitor quality performance (KPI?s). Work with plant staff to develop and implement standard work procedures and quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience implementing ISO/TS/IATF Quality Management System
Proven ability to implement continuous improvement methods and strategies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, TPS, or similar
Desired ability to mentor, motivate and develop personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth
Self-starter, dynamic, hands-on with high sense of autonomy
Ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business leaders
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal


4-7 years

Green Belt and/or Lean Certification REQUIRED.
Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Quality Lead or Quality Supervisor. Highly engineered manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience implementing ISO/TS/IATF Quality Management System.
Proven ability to implement continuous improvement methods and strategies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, TPS, or similar.
Bachelor? Degree in engineering or applied science field, mechanical or industrial engineering preferred.
