Job Description

The Manufacturing Research Scientist - ESL Beverages will work primarily with the ESL beverage teams to optimize and substantiate the controls and processes used within the manufacturing facility. This position will have cross-functional accountability with the operations, maintenance, and quality teams to drive projects and studies to completion and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop validation studies for food safety and quality control parameters within the ESL beverage facilities
- Evaluate and troubleshoot product quality deviations by assessing products throughout the normal shelf life
- Support product development team by providing technical expertise in qualification of product launches
- Compile & analyze (statistically, mathematically and/or graphically) test results, and prepare & communicate reports. Document and maintain records as needed for the studies and projects assigned Interface with the other members of the manufacturing research sciencesteam to achieve success throughout the company.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of process engineering optimization: Root cause analyses, 5S, 5-Why, Center-lining, etc. . Must be computer literate to include experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics or Chemical Engineering. Master's Degree a plus.

At least 3 years of experience working with aseptic or ESL Processes in operations or quality. Process engineering experience a plus

Five years in Quality Assurance in the aseptic or ESL beverage or dressing environment
