Job Description

Peak periods in their production cycle are during the summer, with associates working overtime each week. That's why this is an ideal position for any candidates who are 18 years old and are eager to become immersed into the workforce, whether it is directly following high school, or each summer while the candidate is off from college coursework. After Labor Day, production evens out and offers regular associates consistent full-time and fulfilling work.

The position starts out with 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday hours with overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays as needed. At the end of March 2019, hours will switch to a 3-2-2 schedule from 6:00am-6:00pm. This offers workers a better work-life balance as well as overtime every other week. The position starts out at $11/hr but may increase with seniority.

Some responsibilities on the job include standing for 10-12 hours each day with regular bending, stopping, twisting, squatting, and occasional lifting up to 40Lbs. Each associate is in charge of their step of the production process whether it be part of ?panel sizing? to ensure accurate cuts in the boards used for construction, general assembly to put the boards together into a frame, attaching relevant hardware such as drawer tracks, handles, and other attachments, and finishing up with a final quality check. Once complete, the Shipping department takes over with adequately wrapping and packing products efficiently and strategically into semi-trailers to be delivered to customers in order to be installed in their new environment and enjoyed for generations to come.


  • Ability to remain on feet for 10-12 hour periods with regular bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, and carrying up to 50 Lbs.
  • Ability to measure accurately with a Metric ruler system. 
  • Attention to detail to catch any and all imperfections affecting the overall quality of the product.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools such as powered drills and screwdrivers as well as rubber mallets.


  • A background in construction or a production environment is preferred.
  • Ability to understand blueprints and job orders having to do with assembly of furniture or similar products.
