Job Description

Under the direction of the Vice President of Business Development a successful Marketing liaison will manage and grow the
hospice knowledge and referrals from professional referral sources in an assigned territory. A successful Marketing liaison
will develop and maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospitals, and long-term care facilities that include ALFs
and SNFs. A Marketing liaison is responsible for educating the professional healthcare community in an assigned territory
about hospice eligible patients, the Medicare hospice benefit, company services and programs, company differentiators from the
competition and how to make a referral to the company.

Responsibilities:
Meets outreach goals on a monthly basis.
Implement all marketing programs to healthcare community and work with the team to develop new and
differentiated marketing programs.
Meets with all key referral sources in the assigned territory to educate, problem solve and offer patient care
evaluations by the admissions team to determine eligibility for hospice services for their patients who may need or
require the company's services at any time.
Demonstrates knowledge of company policies and procedures, philosophy of care, goals and objectives and pertinent
state, federal and Joint Commission standards, rules, regulations, and role of Interdisciplinary Team in hospice services
provided with referral sources and community members.
Identifies and helps resolve customer or service issues when they relate to a professional referral community.
Develops and maintains positive working relationships with assigned referral sources and promotes and facilitates
effective communications, collaboration and coordination between referral sources and company so that patient needs
are efficiently and effectively met.
Functions as a company representative at various trade shows, meetings and community functions as assigned.
Organizes meetings with referral sources to provide education and informational updates on company???s services as well
as other topics learners may desire or need.
Adheres to professional business attire dress code while on duty.
Researches and resolves problems experienced by assigned referral sources to ensure rapid response to problems;
conducts appropriate follow-up until complete resolution.
Recommends changes in systems or processes which are contributing to poor referral relations or a decrease in
referrals.
Conducts and electronically documents referral, education and admission processes and activities accurately, timely
and in a thorough manner.
Other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 AM

Skills:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or nursing
Three to five years marketing and sales experience in the healthcare field with physicians, long-term care
and hospitals preferred
