Job Description

Our client is a global supplier of manufacturing and engineering services in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. They are seeking candidates that are on a quest for a long term career and welcome advancement opportunities.
The ideal Master Production Scheduling Manager candidate will have experience in developing and managing best practices for future Demand, Inventory Supply and Capacity Planning. The Manager is tasked with the implementation of standardized planning processes in driving the supply schedules and building a balanced and achievable plan of production to answer customer demands.
This is considered a permanent placement opportunity and the salary range is $80k-$100k, based on experience. Benefits are offered on the 31st day of employment and 401k is offered on the 91st day of employment.

Responsibilities:
-Coordinate a consensus long term demand forecast and maintain daily production and master schedules
-Develop and maintain capacity model inputs and outputs and update routing and requirement estimates based on output standards and new capacity conditions
-Ensure capacity is level loaded to cover demand
-Conduct gap and post mortem analyses between actual and forecasts and schedules and actuals
-Ensure inventory levels are appropriately reserved for overall performance
-Develop methods to measure manufacturing performance to schedules

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Experience with demand management principals and processes combined with end-to-end supply chain operational processes
-Proficient in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods pertaining to financial and operational impacts
-Capable of providing inventory projections and identifying service level issues
-Knowledgeable of demand planning and reporting systems to identify alerts and exceptions within forecasts and sales orders

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
7-10 years

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Operations, Materials Management, Logistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
-7+ years of proven Supply Chain and Planning experience
-Strong working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
-Excellent analytical skills, advanced Excel, Tableau, and /or Power BI proficiency
-Knowledgeable with ERP systems
-APICS or equivalent Supply Chain certification is preferred
