Job Description

We are looking for a Material Handler for our medical device client. The position is accountable for the assembly, kitting, testing, and verification of carts, kits, and components required for customer orders.

- Assemble, prepare, and verify carts required for staging all orders, following current product specifications, work procedures, and instructions according to work orders.
- Ensure materials and parts required for carts and kits are available and the on hand stock is accurate.
- Maintain a neat, organized and safe work area, following health and safety practices.
- Support the on-going development and practice of 5S methods and promote an environment of continuous improvement.
- Pick, pack, and label kits according to the BOM and work instructions.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Technical Service, Field Service, and Supply Chain to understand priorities and coordinate shipping requirements.
- Make recommendations on how to enhance the assembly and kitting process to improve efficiency, quality, and product availability.
- Utilize Agile to access work procedures, instructions, BOM???s, and product specifications to ensure materials processed are current and conform to specifications and design requirements.
- Support other functions within the Warehouse and Supply Chain group as required.
- Provide support to inbound receiving and outbound shipping when required and according to workload.
- Packaging of products according to procedures and specifications.
- Verify pack lists and catalog photos of outbound shipments.
- Other duties as assigned (because of the nature of our business, your duties during peak periods may be varied
- Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customer

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Microsoft Office
- Good documentation skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills

High School

1-4 years

- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 - 6 months related experience or training
- Knowledge of ERP systems and warehouse management (Oracle preferably)
- Basic knowledge of Logistics processes
