The position will start at $10.00 an hour and will be 25 hours a week (first shift Mon-Fri. Depending on the circumstances, hours may have some initial flexibility), then will increase to 40hrs (8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri) until Mid-March.
The candidate must be proficient in MS Office and more specifically MS Excel. All administrative employees utilize Excel on a daily basis. Preferred skills and assets include a background in inventory control, experience navigating vendor websites, and prior execution of freight management. Freight management entails the scheduling, set-up, and verification of necessary documents and procedures of inbound and outbound shipments. These are preferred but not required skills. We will train the right candidate.
The likely candidate will be a self starter and possess the ability to stay on course. They will be communicating on a regular basis with both suppliers and customers. Professionalism and a positive disposition is a must. They essentially are the BACKUP, so we be relying heavily on this person to be here every day. If during this assignment this employee's service exceeds our expectations, then we are prepared to offer long-term employment.
