25 hours a week (first shift Mon-Fri. Depending on the circumstances, hours may have some initial flexibility) until current employee goes on leave, then will increase to 40hrs (8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri). Candidate must be proficient in MS Office and more specifically MS Excel. All administrative employees utilize Excel on a daily basis. Preferred skills and assets include a background in inventory control, experience navigating vendor websites (specifically General Motors), and prior execution of freight management. Freight management entails the scheduling, set-up, and verification of necessary documents and procedures of inbound and outbound shipments. These are preferred but not required skills. We will train the right candidate. The likely candidate will be a self starter and possess the ability to stay on course. They will communicating on a regular basis with both suppliers and customers. Professionalism and a positive disposition is a must. If during this assignment this employee's service exceeds expectations, client is prepared to offer long-term employment. Employee will work in office but will be in the production area and warehouse checking inventory, supplies.
