A well-established building supply manufacturer, specializing in roofing materials, has an opening for a Project Engineer, onsite, full time at their Waco, TX plant operations.
Report to Corporate Engineering Manager out of state. Relocation assistance is available. MANUFACTURING, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE NEEDED.

Seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer with 5-10 years of progressive project/leadership/management experience that includes a very strong mechanical background with equipment design, fabrication, and installation.

Someone that is ambitious, confident without being arrogant, follows company policies, self-driven, independent and an overall team player. This is a replacement opening and the need to fill this opening is high.

CAPEX projects management and the ability to provide support and coordination with contractors and outside vendors relating to engineering projects are highly desired.

This position may require up to 30% travel to multiple plant locations throughout the United States. Corporate headquarters is the East Coast.

General Responsibilities:

Oversees the successful development and implementation of projects related to process improvements, facility upgrades and related safety improvements at multiple locations.
Project Management background with responsibility for establishing and managing project budgets.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is required
Requires a minimum of 5 years, experience in a manufacturing or technical environment, .
Strong experience in Mechanical Design and progressive Project Management
Excellent change management experience highly desired
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,WonPowerPoint and AutoCAD or Solidworks; knowledge of WonderWare and Siemens PLC programming a plus
Travel up to 30%
