Responsibilities include visual inspection, measurement, and testing of small parts, maintaining quality control paperwork, and entering and managing data with a PC.
The successful applicant will be proficient with manual measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.), and inspection techniques. Use of microscopes, dedicated test equipment, and fully automated stent inspection systems may also be required.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK MONDAY-FRIDAY, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
Participate in routine visual inspections
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
Ability to handle small, fragile parts.
Ability to see clearly with a microscope.
Computer literate; MS Excel, MS Word.
Technically inclined.
Mathematically inclined.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
At least one of the following: Quality Control experience, medical device experience, ISO9000 (or ISO13485) experience, microscope inspection experience.
High School Diploma, or above.
At least 1 year experience.
