This position will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, checking patients in/out, chart preparation, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, obtaining insurance authorizations and assist with general office duties. Great phone,skills and ability to multi-task a must. This is a very fast pace office, so the right candidate will need to be someone who can keep up and stay motivated to giving the best customer services to our patients
Working hours: M-F 8-5
--Provide the highest quality customer service to patients -- THIS IS A MUST!
--Interacting with patients in a professional and friendly manner -- checking them in and out; answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, etc.
--Keep office neat, clean and organized
--Learn and utilize medical scheduling software QUALIFICATIONS:
--Detail oriented, problem solver with multi-tasking ability - very important
--Insurance verification and authorization knowledge is a plus, but not required (willing to train the right person)
--Professional, ethical and dependable
--Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
--High school graduation or GED; MUST KNOW MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY
--Dress code is business casual
