Job Description

Performs reception, scheduling, patient registration, and clerical duties in the physician's offices. Uses company computer systems to access information and complete other clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for patient scheduling and registering patients into hospital information system.
2. Answers and directs phone calls.
3. Sorts and distributes department faxes and mail.
4. Greets patients and answers their questions.
5. May be responsible for collection of payments for physicians.
6. Responsible for maintaining reception area clean.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Skills:
Minimum: Basic MS Word & minimum 35 wpm typing speed. Ideal candidate will have bilingual skills (English/Spanish) .
Minimum: Six months clerical experience.
Preferred: Six months clerical experience in a medical environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Past experience with insurance and registration, phone room and medical scheduling preferred.
