Job Description

Our busy financial institution is currently looking for a qualified individual to the fill the role of Member Relationship Builder. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to work in

This position fills weekday hours including some weekends, evening and holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for members, identifying their needs, considering their best interests, and providing them with personalized financial solutions.
- Develop trust and strengthen relationships with members by educating them, and recommending products and services that will help them achieve financial success and simplify their lives.
- Provide a friendly experience for members by consistently providing exceptional service, asking them for the business and proactively following up with them on future opportunities.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
1. Greet members promptly and professionally and provide support regarding products and services in a warm, friendly and enthusiastic manner.
2. Identify members' financial needs and promote products and services to support those needs and strengthen member relationships.
3. Process and approve consumer loan applications in accordance with company policy and established guidelines. (excludes real estate and business loans)
4. Open, close and file maintenance all types of deposit accounts and services while adhering to company policies and procedures.
5. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the entire member services and data processing systems.
6. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services.
7. Maintain current certification for insurance products and notary services as needed.
8. Assist in setting personal sales goals and develop strategies to achieve those goals.
9. Track personal sales goals and provide progress reports to manager as required.
10. Assist in resolving member conflicts and complaints.
11. Provide feedback to lending operations team on competitors' rates and programs.
12. Make recommendations as needed to update policies, procedures and guidelines that protect the business and the member's best interest.
13. Assist in identifying and implementing new products and services.
14. Maintain ongoing communication with manager, informing him/her of all pertinent problems, new developments, changes and other important information.
15. Work in an environment that demands resourcefulness and flexibility.
16. Attend staff meetings to discuss areas needing improvement, changes in procedures, new developments or services, and to present general information.
17. Attend seminars, webinars, and round table meetings as a way of keeping current on changes in industry trends and innovative products and services.
18. Be an active listener by giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, and asking appropriate questions.
19. Confidentiality is required.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. One-year experience in banking environment preferred.
3. Consumer lending experience preferred.
4. Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing and presentation.
5. Ability to comprehend written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
6. Detail orientated and ability to prioritize activities.
7. Strong decision-making skills.
8. Ability to get along with others in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining a business-like composure.
9. Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
10. Regular full time attendance.
