Job Description

A full- service supplier of recognizable luxury brand name products is searching for a Merchandising Manager to join their team. The objective of the merchandising role is to obtain the correct balance between the expectations of the Brand and the objectives of the company's financial strategy. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written. Must pay close attention to detail, be patient, and attentive with exceptional listening skills. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and time management ability. A friendly disposition and professional behavior with customers and clients is essential.

Responsibilities:
- The main point of contact with multiple brands.
- Develop sales strategy for each brand and understanding brand expectations and ensuring it aligns with company?s directives.
- Communicating effectively with sales and operations. Key to ensuring brand sales expectations are being met.
- Analyzing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
- Manage inventory of stocked product. Utilizing inventory reports to adequately reorder and for forecast properly
- Plan, develop and direct sales efforts for a particular brand or product.
- Work with Finance to create budgets for each brand.
- Understand each individual brand standard and usage guidelines and disburse appropriate information to sales and operations teams
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop the appropriate marketing communication for each brand. Emails blasts to feature new brands and/or products from existing brand. Brand/Product sales sheets.
- Track consumer and market insights by reviewing metrics such as sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing and distribution, and by conducting consumer research.
- Analyze sales data to update a brand or category portfolio, determine new products and delete under-performing products.

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Analytical Skills:
Need to enjoy analyzing data and using this to identify trends and potential risks and opportunities. You should be comfortable with basic Statistics.

Communication Skills:
Will need excellent communication skills, as you will be dealing with top level brands, sales representative and, other teams internally.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Resilience Under Pressure:
Need to be able to keep calm when under pressure. This role can require quick thinking to spot trends, evaluate large amounts of data and make sound decisions. Things can change very quickly and there are always deadlines to meet.
