Job Description

Ensure continual flow of product through the module from the mold press thru the trim press

Follow procedures to operate mold press, trim press, canister washer, and autoclave

Properly complete all paperwork and product identification

Visual inspection of molded sheet stock for quality defects and punching out defective product using mallet and punch

Measure product and plotting measurements on SPC charts

Use and understand SPC data to confirm that the process is under control

Verify line clears for product change at each station of the process

Ensure that trimmed product is moved to controlled packing area

Properly clean and prep assigned work stations/equipment prior to the next available shift

May be assigned to work in B2, Weigh-Pack, and/or Nesting areas as needed

Other duties as assigned

Satisfactorily pass skills assessment

Possess basic computer skills

Prefer up to 3 years of previous experience in a manufacturing setting

Willing and able to work as a team member and make general decisions within authorized responsibility

Possess a functional understanding of cGMPs

Willing to work overtime as needed or directed

Exhibit regular attendance as a necessary condition of employment

Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description

Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target

Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times

Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

High school diploma/ GED
