Job Description

Are you looking to make extra income during the holiday season!

Our client is looking for an ideal candidate for a temporary Administrative Assistant that will have one or more years' experience in a fast-paced office environment.
The candidate will have strong analytical, oral/written communication, problem solving, basic research, attention to detail and time management skills.

This position is Monday to Friday and hours vary:
4:00am to 12:30pm
8:00am to 4:30pm
12:00am to 8:30am

Execute a comprehensive examination of various documents including commercial invoices, international bills of lading, and shipping documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Research and correct errors resulting from incorrect pre-advise information.

Compile and save shipping documents (paper or electronic) to comply with government regulations.

Preparation of complex reports/presentations

Analysis using various software packages and databases, e.g. MS Access

Determining methods and procedures for completing complex tasks

Providing advanced office support knowledge and skills

Preparing and/or coordinating information for internal and external.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Candidate must have intermediate level skills in Access, Excel and Word as well as advanced level skills in PowerPoint. Candidate must have outstanding telephone etiquette, professional business behavior and strong organizational and prioritization skills. Candidate must be proficient with multi-tasking. Excellent attendance records are required and will be requested. Candidate must be recognized by management team as demonstrating confidential behavior with a known level of exceptional integrity.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a high attention to detail

Strong analytical, oral/written communication, problem solving, basic research, attention to detail and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

Accurate and rapid data entry
