Job Description

Spherion Staffing is looking to hire an Office Clerk for a client in Park 100.

Under general supervision, the Office Clerk performs clerical functions including receiving, classifying, reconciling, consolidating and summarizing of documents and information.
Maintains records or logs. Verifies completion and accuracy of information. Sets up and maintains files and records.

Responsibilities:
??? Responsible for providing administrative support to the department: filing, opening
mail, typing and answering phones
??? Ensure that clerical functions related to the warehouse, transportation, or general
offices, are completed timely and accurately
??? Additional responsibilities, as assigned
??? Performs other duties as assigned

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Skills:
- Has a strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skill
- Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer
and Ryder
- Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize to successfully complete tasks, both long-
term and short term
- Interact well with customers, both internal and external
- Team player

No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
??? High School diploma or equivalent
??? Demonstrates customer service skills and telephone etiquette
??? Highly thorough and dependable. Requires integrity and trust
??? Friendly and service-oriented. Must have sense of humor, work/life balance and
decision quality
??? Strong verbal and written communication skills
??? Ability to:
o Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the

??? Compiles reports using specified formats and procedures (intermediate level)
??? Knowledge of general office equipment e.g., copying machines, phone, fax
(advanced level)
??? Computer knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), and Outlook (intermediate level)
