Job Description

- Greets and serves walk in customers and conducts out-bound calling to secure new customers or provide upgraded services to existing customers.
- Presents a suite of products and services offered to potential and existing customers, leads negotiations, coordinates decision-making process, and overcomes objections to closure.
- Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with current customers and prospective customers.
- Demonstrates products to customers and provides training on the use of products sold.
- Makes follow-up calls to ascertain customer satisfaction, answer questions or concerns, and obtain referrals and/or sales leads.
- Handles customers' requests by phone, online chat, fax, e-mail and mail.
- Participates in company-sponsored activities during non-business hours.
- Accepts payments for products and services. Completes tasks by processing transactions through the cash register, and providing the customer with the receipt.
- Maintains an accurate cash fund. Counts the cash fund in and out, reconciles the daily receipts, and reconciles the cash drawer.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of department.

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8AM - 6PM

--High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of similar work experience
--Must have the ability to learn and understand broadband service offerings (Cable modems, Digital Subscriber line and Fiber to the Home) and effectively communicate that technology to customers.
--Must be a self-starter able to work without close supervision and to think independently.
--Proficient in personal computer use with good keyboard skills. Excellent interpersonal communications skills including a proven ability to listen and understand customers, as well as ability to work in a team environment.
--Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
--Must be able to work varied work schedule, Saturday and overtime as necessary.
--Experience in the Telecommunications industry supporting voice, data and video services.
--Experience or the ability to learn diagnosing PC hardware, software, operating system and cable modem and cabling issues.
--Familiarity or ability to learn basic Telco terms and infrastructure
--Prior industry experience highly preferred.
--Excellent knowledge or ability to learn Windows and Macintosh operating systems, internet/IP, web browsers, e-mail and other PC
--Knowledge of Service Order and Billing process
--Experience with different Applications Sales or upselling experience
