Job Description

Primary responsibility of the position will be to manage the credit and accounts receivable activities ensuring all credit policies are implemented accurately and within established guidelines, making recommendations for continual improvement. Other duties include invoice management, transportation logistics

Essential Functions Statement(s)
?Manage credit review and approval process to approve extending credit to new customers or expand credit limit and/or terms for existing customers. Maintain customer credit files.
?Prepare and continually review accounts receivable aging on an on-going basis to ensure that customer accounts are current and payments received within approved terms.
?Review and recommend changes to credit policy to members of senior management team to improve cash flow, provide timely accounts receivable processing and reduce past due receivables. Maintain in-depth knowledge of all credit programs to be able to administer program accurately.
?Post customer payments (checks, on-line and ACH); prepare bank deposit for checks.
?Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and payment discrepancies.
?Assist with regular customer billing ensuring accuracy within established deadlines.
?Develop and prepare credit and accounts receivable reports as required.
?Provide support as required in all activities engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies.
?Provide support as required to assist sales and marketing department related functions.
?Provide management of outbound product invoicing shipments.
?Provide management of outbound freight programs.
?Provide support as required to assist engineering department related functions.
?Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material, supplies and equipment availability.
?All other duties as assigned.

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Education:A four-year bachelor?s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:Four plus years of credit and accounts receivable experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing ERP solution software. Two plus years experience in functional management position areas strongly desired.


Computer Skills:Demonstrated skill and proficiency with MS Office computer applications (specifically Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel Software) and other industry-related software (ERP) and the ability to learn new systems and applications as needed. Ability to operate general and office equipment as required.
