Job Description

The Operational Excellence Leader provides continuous improvement support to the manufacturing facilities teams by leading projects, implementing new practices and procedures. You will work closely with leadership to align continuous improvement projects with business key performance indicators
This is considered a permanent placement opportunity and the salary for this position is $90-$100k based on experience. Benefits are offered on the 31st day of employment and 401k is offered on the 91st day of employment.

- Lead improvement teams utilizing the Six Sigma methodology and lean techniques, track project schedules, benefits, and other key metrics
- Assure effective customer service and relations by implementing processes to deliver quality products on-time
- Support the enterprise in standardization of processes and training material as specified in rolling out Operational Excellence Strategy
- Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area
- Perform other assignments as required

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Must be a proven leader and team player, with a track record in change management
- Strong team builder, mentor, and coach
- Demonstrated ability to implement new techniques and continuous improvement programs at all levels of manufacturing operations
- Planning and organizational skills - prioritization, resource allocation, multi-tasking
- Creative and innovative approach to problem resolution
- Facilitation, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Computer skills - intermediate level in Microsoft Office and Project Management
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with people at all levels inside and outside the company


7-10 years

- Bachelor"s degree in engineering (ME, IE or EE)
- 7 to 15 years minimum experience in manufacturing and materials management is required
- Experienced and certified Black-Belt, Green-Belt or Lean Expert, or able to achieve certification within 18 months
- Understanding and minimum 5 years of experience with world class manufacturing principles including JIT, Demand Flow, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma techniques
