Job Description

Family owned and operated Charleston catering company looking for a Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team. The role includes managing office day to day and all bookkeeping.
Candidate will work directly with company leadership to update and confirm all target goals and team objectives are being met.

Responsibilities:
-Manage day to day office operations including:
-Office supplies + equipment
-Ingoing/Outgoing Mail
-IT Maintenance + Troubleshooting
-Perform all Bookkeeping duties including:
-Accounts Receivable/Payable
-Facilitate Vendor Relationships
-Sales/Hospitality Tax
-Supplement + Supply CPA with Necessary Reports, Info
-Sales/Hospitality Tax
-Credit Card Management
-Banking Management
-Venue Fee Calculations
-Payroll + Commission Calculations
-POS (Clover + Square) Reconciliation/Tracking

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Multi-task and ability to work within multiple tasks daily;
-Effective communication - verbal and written to all teams;
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel and Outlook), computer savvy
-Proficient in Quickbooks or comparable program
-Motivated with a positive attitude;
-Willingness to learn new skills and work within a team environment.
-Self-motivated and Independent;
-Flexibility to work a varying schedule;

Associate

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
Catering and/or hospitality experience is a plus but not required. Prefer experience managing an office and handling payroll of approx 150 employees during peak season.

Education: College diploma preferred.


Compensation: Competitive Salary starting $40 - 45k based on experience. Includes paid time off for vacation and major holidays.

Schedule: M - F 9:00 - 5:00 PM, Must have a flexible schedule. Ability to supplement retail staff during peak season is preferred.
