Spherion Staffing is accepting resumes for an order management specialist.
Responsible for managing customer order process from the time a purchase order is received, until the order is delivered. Key duties will include ensuring accurate pricing, notifying customers of delays/shortages, working with region managers and customers on return authorizations.
Job Duties include (but are not limited to)
*Responsible for accurately processing order entries, invoicing and custom documentation.
*Process vendor credits and re-bills.
*Coordinate with production and shipping on order related issues.
*Communicates with sales team, brokers and customers regarding order related issues (Pricing, out of stocks, order holds, and shipment delivery delays).
*Timely resolution of pricing issues and other holds.
*Timely response to CHR and carriers regarding disposition of refused freight.
*Obtain credit reference for new customers.
*Cross training to provide accounts receivable coverage for vacations and busy periods.
*Coordinate with brand managers on third party orders.
Working hours: Day Hours
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 1 year customer service or accounting experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
SAP experience preferred
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in all Microsoft programs
