Job Description

So you work a little longer dayy, but you work 1/3 less days of the year AND the client pays out a bi-weekly attendance bonus? That sounds like a great gig! We have day shift production positions available with Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP right here in North Mankato.

The DAY shift will be working 6:00AM-6:00PM. This shift will be working on a rotating basis and therefore will not be on the same days every week and will required you to work everyother weekend.

Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environment
Pre-inspect kettle popping/ packaging station to ensure all equipment is proper, intact and in safe working condition
Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered

Production:
Maintain and demonstrate a thorough understanding of processing specifications for varying products and materials.
Identify and setup correct raw materials, recipes and utensils associated with each product.
Execute exact measurements per recipe to ensure gold standard is met.
Operate multiple electric kettles, simultaneously and efficiently.
Add ingredients to electric kettle.
Remove popped corn form kettles and dispense into bins.
Effectively maintain kettle uptime to ensure efficient production flow for entire production shift.
Monitor kettle performance and report kettle deficiencies to floor leadership
Assist with materials delivery as needed.
Configure packaging equipment and materials for proper line setup during product changeovers and startups
Assemble corrugate items into cases or displays, package bags and palletize finished product to match specification
Operate pallet jack

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:
Must be able to effectively use the English language, in verbal and written form
Must be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules using English

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three or more month's related experience or other food production experience or manufacturing experience
