Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Performs repetitive line assembly operations at different work stations.
Comply with ISO Environmental Policies as it pertains to the company and job.
Responsible for maintaining the workstation per 5S guidelines, which includes maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Able to inspect product for conformity based on established guidelines or sample boards.
Comply with ISO Quality Policies as it pertains to the company and job.
100% visual inspection of unfinished and finished product
Fills in manufacturing order and accurately segregates defective product through the use of a reject card or rework card.
Alerts manufacturing Supervision ASAP if quality problem is detected.
Performs visual inspection

Works at different work stations as production needs require at Making and Finishing within short notice.
Able to work overtime as required and be flexible with assigned or rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and hours (8, 10, 12 hrs.) when needed.
Follows manufacturing orders, obtains the correct sub components and other raw materials necessary to process the order.
Maintains good safety and attendance record.
Required to set wheels on automatic and manual presses.
Required to simultaneously un-stack and pack in different locations.
Able to document quantity good product and defective product.
Disassembles setting equipment by separating baked wheels from setting plates.
Oversees presses (manual or automatic) during lunch and breaks.
Basic knowledge in the use of hand tools.
Manager/Supervisor of this position is responsible to find and designate a backup at the time of need, based on the skills and abilities available within the unit at the time that specific time.

Working hours: Monday to Friday. Sometimes Saturday.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High school education and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to read work orders in English.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
