Job Description

Wash, prime and paint various parts according to required drawings and specifications, iriditing according to IAW MIL-C-5541, priming and painting according to IAW-MIL-C-46166 and MIL-C-22750.


Teaching others
Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.


Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make pressure adjustments as necessary.
Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using viscometers.
Weigh or measure chemicals, coatings, or paints making sure mix ratios are correct and perform proper mixing before adding them to machines.
Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, drawings, and the job traveler, using pain mixing equipment.
Set up and operate machines to paint or coat products as called out on the job traveler and drawings.
Regulate equipment, air pressure and circulation, and the flow or spray of coatings or paints.
Operate oven, machines, or equipment used in coating or painting processes according to company processes.
Iriditing parts and deburring parts.
Paint various parts to proper millage thickness, free of drips, runs, dirt and light spots on entire part. 
Ensure quality assurance.
Help maintain cleanliness, neatness, and safety of building and work area.
Perform maintenance TPM's daily, weekly, and monthly according to schedule.
Blast parts to get suitable profile.
Perform water break test.
Wipe down with wax and grease remover.
