Job Description

Responsible for coordinating information and assisting employees and attorneys with various legal matters to ensure that our client operates in an efficient, timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities:
Well known and respected employer in Goleta seeks an experienced Paralegal. Your duties will include:

Coordinating information and assisting general counsel in case preparation
Maintains and organizes records of all legal filings, correspondence, and other documents to ensure optimal matter management.
Communicate with both external parties and internal business groups to resolve issues with current and proposed contracts.
Provides support for litigation and administrative agency proceedings, including collection, preparation, and production of documents.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Understand technical legal terminology
Proficient with Word, Excel and Research databases

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
7-10 years

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required: paralegal certifiate preferred
5+ years paralegal experience
Experience with Civil law, Workers Comp, Business Contracts, or Litigation.
Must be familiar with the court system, state, and federal agencies.
