Plant Lead

Job Description

Spherion Staffing is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Plant Lead to perform and oversee manufacturing, packaging, and other steps in the production line process. This is temp-to-hire with opportunity for career growth!

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (must be able to work flexible hours as needed)

Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities will include weighing raw material/ingredients for production, fulfilling work orders, packaging, shipping/receiving, and operating various types of manufacturing equipment.

-Operate and monitor line
-Ensure package and product quality
-Clean equipment and area during and after shift

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

-Must be able to multi-task
-Ability to work in a high-speed manufacturing environment, team oriented, and deadline driven
-Legible handwriting

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma/GED
-Recent 2 years (minimum) of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
-Experience working in a manufacturing environment including packaging, quality assurance, GMP, and shipping
-Computer skills including basic software experience
-Must be able to prepare documentation detailing work, process flows, etc
