Job Description

One of our clients is seeking a 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance technician who will be responsible for performing a variety of advanced activities to maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition. They are seeking someone who isn't shy to provide new ideas for improvement in processes, so your voice will be heard! - Maintain full proficiency in all department areas and designated area of specialization (ex. PLC/Electrical)
- Stay up to date on current maintenance and mechanical repair technologies
- Lead machine tool repairs, rebuilds, and other maintenance work to insure quality of maintenance operations
- Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious
- Adhere to ERU food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA)
- Provide technical leadership and one-on-one training for Maintenance Apprentices and Maintenance Technician
- Backup for Maintenance Supervisor during absences

Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

- Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and blue print reading skills
- Excellent technical understanding, equipment-maintenance, power tool, and welding skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Effective written and verbal communication skills


1-4 years

- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Forklift, scissors, and aerial lift license
- 5 years experience in maintenance or mechanics
- Waste water experience is ideal
- Proficiency in Machinist training, Welding, Fabrication, Piping, PLC, and Electrical
- Course work with satisfactory grades or certification in machine shop, welding, fabrication, piping, PLC, and electrical
