Job Description

Post processing involves many different duties including (but not limited to) Cleaning, Passivation, Electropolish and spot passivation.
7am to 5pm, but must be willing to work second shift when needed.

1. Ability to work independently to complete all processes utilizing great planning and time management skills to complete most work tasks on a daily 8-hour delivery window.
2. Good computer skills, able to input into Excel, communicate with Outlook, Word.
3. Receives process traveler and verify that the components are correct.
4. Receives material and logs into system.
5. Maintains lot integrity and traceability requirements
6. Logs information into ERP system and job Travelers
7. Checks parts according to customer specification and follows the prescribed process procedure.
8. Performs post processing set-up operations-cleaning and alcohol rinses
9. Performs post process operation operations
10. Ability to monitor processes involved in cleaning, Passivation, Electropolish, and spot passivation regarding parameters and logs.
11. Be receptive to formal training regarding all methods; i.e. Acid/Water ratios: how to mix and maintain PH.
12. Performs daily PM requirements to all the equipment.
13. Performs PH and Specific gravity tests and proactive response to keep all processes running to specifications

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

14.-Interfaces with Water Systems support vendors, Culligan, Kinetico, to schedule maintenance and necessary repairs.
15.-Understand and demonstrate safe chemical waste management.
16.-Evaporator maintenance and operation.
17.-Must understand the passivation specifications ASTM A967 (Citrus) and F86 (nitric) B912 (EP) A380 (cleaning).
18.-Fills out all traveler part counts perfectly without error, both with receiving and completion.
19.-Keeps supervision apprised of any pending or potential problems or concerns that could jeopardize production integrity or OTD.
20.-Recommends process improvements with supervisor to resolve problems.
21.-Ensures work area cleaned and professional in appearance
22.-Maintains good quality and production output.
23.-Labels parts to send to next operation.
24.-Other duties as assigned.

High School

4-7 years

1. General knowledge and understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA 21CFR820 as it pertains to the job preferred, on the job training provided.
2. High School or equivalent.
3. English communication skills preferred.
4. Working knowledge of cleaning machines; at least 3 months of directly related training and/or experience.
5. Mechanical aptitude required.
6. General knowledge of precision measuring equipment and real-world experience with those instruments including but not limited to calipers, ID / OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators.
7. Ability to read Blueprints preferred.
8. Required knowledge of basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for calculating material fabrication.
9. Detail Oriented.
10. Skilled in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
11. Skilled in setting priorities that move projects through efficiently achieving customer and quality objectives.
12. Skilled in working independently, following through with assignments with minimal direction.
13. Reasoning skills including but not limited to comparing, classifying, analyzing and coordinating- minimizing duplication of effort.

1. Use and model proper PPE always: Safety glasses, shields, aprons, masks and gloves.
