Press Machine Operator

Job Description

Spherion Staffing is interviewing for 2nd shift Press Machine Operators to work with our client, a manufacturing company. Successful applicant will work Press Machines to produce product meeting the manufacturing schedule and specifications. This position will also include some unloading and loading of incoming/outgoing freight.

Monday-Thursday 5 pm - 3:30 am - May be 5 pm to 5 am when there is OT
Pay $17-19/hour DOE

Responsibilities:
- Interpret Manufacturing schedule for those specifications and make adjustments to the press to produce product meeting those specifications
- Communicate schedule status, safety, quality, productivity, and maintenance issues to Production Supervisor
- Keep track of supplies needed to run department and communicate needs to Production Supervisor
- Keep area clean and organized according to the direction of Plant Manager and Production Supervisor
- Unload and load incoming and outgoing freight as trained and required. Alert Production Supervisor if not able to complete this task

Requirements:
-High school education and technical training or equivalent experience
-Pre-employment drug screen is required
-Safety glasses are required, but company provided
