Job Description

A prestigious national law firm, has a position available in its Naples, Florida office for a Trust & Estates/Probate paralegal and ancillary tax work. Candidates with 3-5 years' related practical experience in a law firm will be considered for interviews.

Duties:

Tasks include preparing all court pleadings in connection with Formal and Summary Estate Administrations, gathering data for preparation of estate tax and income tax returns, transferring assets, corresponding with fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and financial institutions, opening estate and trust accounts, paying estate expenses, preparing homestead applications, drafting of deeds and estate planning documents as directed by the attorney, and preparation of accountings.

Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative. Candidate must have the ability to communicate with attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions. Organizational skills needed to keep track of all assignments and meet all deadlines. Good clerical, administrative and mathematical skills are an asset. Candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and related Microsoft applications.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
