Job Description

A leading telecommunications provider is looking for a Process Engineer for their Melbourne, FL location! Relocation money included in offer! The Process Engineer will develop and implement process strategies for the manufacture of RF communication equipment

Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement process strategies for the manufacture of RF communication equipment
*Design and procure tooling, fixtures, equipment and manufacturing processes for new and existing products
*Deploy best practice principles for process control and product yield
*Apply LEAN Manufacturing principles to create new and improve existing processes
*Develop detailed Assembly/Test Work instructions
*Train assemblers and perform certification testing
*Review performance outcomes, investigate problems and ensure revisions to documented plans
*Establish performance measures and metrics, analyze metrics to identify and implement performance-based improvements
*Support troubleshooting systems, confirm quality of new parts and materials

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Must be able to perform accurate, repetitive and steady work with minimal errors
Good analytical abilities, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving
Exceptional verbal and written communication
Detail oriented, accurate and organized; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to use basic electronic tools (digital meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Lean/Six-Sigma Green belt (or higher) certification is preferred
Proficient with MS Office Suites, CAD Software, MRP/ERP and scheduling software
Working knowledge of IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
Experience in Electronics or Electro-mechanical fabrication, assembly and/or test environment
4+ years' experience in Electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
