Job Description

Local international company is recruiting a process technician that will work with limited supervision and support from Shift Technical Supervisor, to produce the finished product according to batch sheet instructions. Comply with the requirements of the company handbook, actively participating in developing and implementation of the SHE processes for this operation with support from the Shift Technical Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Comply with plant Health, Safety and Environmental rules and policies set out in the Employee Handbook and the Mobile Plant SOP library.
Promote safety of self and coworkers by participation in the sites proactive safety (BBS and PSM/RMP) programs.
Ensure Safe Operation of the plant by controlling Maintenance PMs and other corrective work via the Work Notification and Permit to Work System.
Evaluate suitability of method statements and permit to work for safety and maintenance activities carried out on the plant and machinery associated with the permited work.
Safety and Lean process implementation and reporting on a routine basis.
Responsible for operation of processes and sub-processes in accordance with SOP???s, with competence and confidence in process decisions, reaction end points and deviations.
Ensuring stock replenishment of all batch additions are available for batch preparation and processing, communicating with other site teams as appropriate.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:
Qualify the chemical characteristics of raw material prior to material transfers for quality and compatibility as defined in the SOPs.
Perform process equipment consumables changeover disposal and cleaning.
Perform minor maintenance and PMs on equipment as directed by schedule and report findings/deficiencies of unit when determined.
Perform in-process analytical testing as required.
Package finished goods in accordance to production schedule.
Document production, consumption and delays in SAP system for inventory control and continuous improvement purposes.

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Associate Degree is preferred
5 years chemical manufacturing experience
3 years chemical process operator
SAP and DCS proficient
Proficient in Excel
