Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
-Assembles and sub-assembles the product in the correct format by using a variety of hand and power tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assembles assigned product parts on the assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
-Positions parts and subassemblies in accordance to work instructions.
-Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
-Contributes to the team effort by rotating through various assembly roles.
-Will complete appropriate paperwork such as log sheets and count defect sheets.
-Adhere to established safety policies and procedures.
-Maintain a clean work environment by performing clean-up regularly/daily.
-Timely reports hazardous conditions to supervisor.
-Will wear or use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
-Performs all other duties as required, directed, or assigned.

Working hours: 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday through Thursday). Fridays OT mandatory if necessary.

Skills:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be legal to work within the United States.
-Must have obtained either a high school diploma or GED.
-Prior assembly experience is desirable, on-the-job training provided.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Stamina as standing for extensive periods of time is required (up to 10 hrs. per day).
-Significant amount of time lifting, bending, stretching, walking, and completing repetitious work.
-Ability to pick up heavy objects up to 40 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
-Work is performed in a temperature controlled environment.
-Generally good working conditions with occasional exposure to noise, odors, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, hazardous substances, etc.
-The job regularly requires sitting or standing at a work station, repetitive manual movements, concentration on small areas, and precise hand/eye coordination.
