Job Description

ERI is hiring Production Associates in Plainfield, IN.

Shift A:Sun-Th 10 pm-6:30 am/$13/hr
Shift B:M-W 7 am-7 pm/12.50/hr
Shift D/Th-Sa 7 am-7 pm/12.50/hr

Job Summary:
The Production Sorter will work with other members of Operations to assure production goals are met based on assigned department areas including CPU's, CRT's, LCD's, DLP, sorting e-waste, or reuse and recycle (R&R).

Responsibilities:
- Sorts material by separating it into commodities such as hard drives, power supplies, mixed drives, and various circuit boards into stacks.
- Identifies left over material as consumer waste and prepares it for stacking.
- When needed, teams-up with a partner to lift anything over 50lbs.
- Keeps area clean by sweeping 10 minutes before a break and before end of the shift.
- Help properly receive material within assigned areas.
- Ensures all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn and properly dresses for job duties.
- Helps monitor inventory of necessary tools and supplies used such as boxes and hammers are stocked.
- Notify EH&S of any safety concerns and violations, PPE defects or need for replacement of safety equipment.
- Works to ensure maximum production accuracy and efficiency to ensure production goals are achieved.
- Works to achieve least amount of costs by properly maintaining assigned supplies, tools, or PPE.
- Work assigned schedule based on demands set forth by management.
- Works to ensure fixed assets are preserved within assigned areas.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
- Informs management on issues including safety,
security, employee relations, scheduling, training,
etc. within assigned areas
- Understands policy and program changes that are communicated.
- Participates in ongoing training and re-training of ERI procedures, policies, and plans.
- Helps in end of the month inventory counts
- Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relations with personnel.
- Helps be in cohesion with team on reaching assigned goals.
- Help Loss Prevention maintains security measures throughout the assigned areas related to sensitive information and theft.
- Completes assigned compliance-based checklist and reports issues to adhere to all certification standards and regulations
- Help ensure housekeeping around area to maintain safety and cleanliness
- Report any ideas for efficiency and continuous improvement to facility leadership.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and standards.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred

Required Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Ability to meet set goals
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50 pounds: and to bend, stoop walk, reach overhead.
- Have a positive attitude
- Ability to push/pull, squat, twist, and turn without adverse physical injury is mandatory
