Production Laborer

Job Description

Spherion is in search of Production Laborers for a great company in Elkhart, IN!

Positions are on 1st shift from 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Pay is $14/hr with the opportunity to earn +$1.00/hr ($15/hr) based on attendance on a weekly basis.

***To be eligible for the attendance bonus, EE must have no attendance occurrences in that given week.

Responsibilities:
-Work to maximize productivity & efficiency in department
-Work to create & maintain a cooperative team environment
-Be proficient and cross-train in all areas of production
-Maintain commitment to product quality and workplace safety
-Inspect and audit production parts, ability to provide correctional procedures when necessary
-Participate in relative problem solving and continuous improvement activities
-Organize daily assignments and keep work area clean & clear of clutter
-Follow lean manufacturing principles
-Assist in other production related activities as required

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
-Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed!
-Basic math skills

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
-Be able to work with minimal supervision
-Be able to read & understand prints & diagrams
-Be able to read tape measure and/or other measure tools
-Willing to work daily & weekend overtime as required
