Job Description

Production Associate Summary
-The Production Associate is responsible for working safely and efficiently on the production line to process and package food that meets food safety and quality requirements.

Safety:
-Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
-Maintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environment
-Pre-inspect kettle popping/ packaging station to ensure all equipment is proper, intact and in safe working condition
-Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered

Production:
-Maintain and demonstrate a thorough understanding of processing specifications for varying products - and materials.
-Identify and setup correct raw materials, recipes and utensils associated with each product.
-Execute exact measurements per recipe to ensure gold standard is met.
-Operate multiple electric kettles, simultaneously and efficiently.
-Add ingredients to electric kettle.
-Remove popped corn form kettles and dispense into bins.
-Effectively maintain kettle uptime to ensure efficient production flow for entire production shift.
-Monitor kettle performance and report kettle deficiencies to floor leadership
-Assist with materials delivery as needed.
-Configure packaging equipment and materials for proper line setup during product changeovers and startups
-Assemble corrugate items into cases or displays, package bags and palletize finished product to match specification
-Operate pallet jack

Working hours: MONDAY-FRIDAY 6:40 AM - 4:00 PM

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A background in food manufacturing or general manufacturing is preferred.

Language Skills:
Must be able to effectively use the English language, in verbal and written form
Must be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules using English
