Job Description

$11.50 plus 2nd shift differential of $.50 ( TOTAL $12 an hour on second shift) 43% markup
DT and BG check no felonies no violent offenders.

6 Machine Operators B and D shift Will send schedule

550 PM to 600AM $11.50 $.50 2nd differential Arrive 10 minutes before every other weekend off
2 paid 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch
busy season is coming need all positions filled by April 1st
Experience with manufacturing experience with plastics a plus read and write English good work history dependable good common sense problem solving abilities.

BLUE RIDGE INDUSTRIES, INC.

I. JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for performing the first point quality inspection on manufactured parts, assembly (as required), and packaging of product to conform to the existing quality standards.

II. DUTIES:

? Remove product from machine or assembly line and inspect per established quality plan, control samples and work instructions.
? Pack acceptable product. Notify appropriate shift supervisor or shift lead of scrap or machine malfunction.
? Record scrap.
? Regrind runners and nonconforming parts per supervision instruction
? Complete rework as required.
? Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
? Comply with all safety requirements.
? Perform any other duties assigned.

? Adherence to work instructions and quality standards

III. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

? Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred. Prior work experience in production environment is helpful.

? Language Skills: At a minimum, must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills to perform job duties. Must understand and be able to comprehend BRI?s Quality Policy.

? Environmental Conditions: Individual is frequently exposed to wet, hot, cold and/or humid conditions and must be able to adapt accordingly. Must adhere to safety regulations at all times when exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

? Equipment usage: Must be familiar with the use of a trim knife, grinders, hand jacks and comply with quality and safety regulations regarding gloves, hairnets, and goggles (glasses)

? Physical Activity: Must be able to walk, talk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

? Vision Requirements: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

IV. RESPONSIBILITY/AUTHORITY:

? It is the Production Associate?s responsibility to identify nonconforming material as discrepant when it is noticed during normal work assignments and report it to the appropriate supervision.
