Job Description

We are now seeking an experienced Production Lead to join the team of a local manufacturing company! A Production Lead is in charge of the entire production process for a particular set of products. They plan, organize and recommend strategies in ensuring that the product is developed successfully, in accordance with all specifications. Previous experience is required. Position will report to the Plant Manager of facility.

Position is full time at 40 hours weekly, plus overtime as needed. Working hours will be Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. All interested candidates must be available for overtime.

- Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains work flow by monitoring all steps of the process
- Sets process variables, observes control points and equipment, monitors personnel resources, and studies methods
- Implements cost reductions, develops reporting procedures and systems, and facilitates corrections to malfunction within process control points
- Initiates and fosters a spirit of cooperation within and between any and all departments
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress
- Revise schedules as needed and resolve any problems that may arise during production flow
- Report results of the processing flow on shift production summaries
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Ensures samples are pulled from all mix batches daily and prepared for testing
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Ability to and experience with operating a forklift required
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience with Quality Control
- Needs to possess mechanical and mathematical skills

High School

1-4 years

- Must have High School Diploma or equivalence
- Previous experience working in a leadership role within a production environment is required
- Proven job stability is required in order to be considered
- Must be willing to submit to drug screen and background check
